Love, Madness and Poetry: The Leyla, Majnun Romeo, Juliet Story The mythical Islamic tale of love forlorn, Leyla and Majnun, is shadowed by the fate of a ghostly Romeo and Juliet in a performance that questions Eastern and Western sensitivities about love and fate incorporating virtual video characters and interactive projections.

A visual and aural feast celebrating Indonesian Australian beats ranging from resonating gongs to the infectious rhythms of kendang. Deva Permana and Reza Achman from Gongbaby and Pixelvision team up with traditional dancers and special guests from Indonesia, including multi-instrumentalist Efiq Zulfikar. Linked by a classic Indonesian story of the traditional vs the technological and the effects of land degradation and the importance of spirituality, Gongtronic balanced the old and the new through breaks and beats.
